Margaret Synan-Russell
My artwork is influenced by the landscape, people, politics, and spirituality. I use my artwork to process events and situations happening around me. My studio is my refuge. It is a place of purpose, my think tank and processing center. Like a writer, I use my art to tell a story. Every image I make has a story behind it. I hope to make pieces that allow the viewer to create their own stories. I hope to bring a sense of wonder and beauty to people. Margaret is a member of the Oregon Potter’s Association.
